About the Role
The County of San Diego is seeking exemplary candidates for Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (DCAO) positions across four County Groups:
- Finance and General Government Group
- Health and Human Services Agency
- Land Use and Environment Group
- Public Safety Group
Deputy Chief Administrative Officers report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and play a vital role within the executive team. DCAOs direct, organize, and oversee all activities within their designated Group. Additionally, they aid the CAO in the coordination of county operations, program planning, development, and implementation.
