Dept Manager Farm Full Time

About the Role

Department Managers are responsible for driving company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and shrink results. You will lead a team to increase sales and profits in your assigned area, using hands-on leadership and management expertise to ensure successful operation.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all planograms are executed.
• Maintain proper pricing, display, and stocking of merchandise according to inventory levels.
• Supervise, train, and develop staff in all functions required for your assigned area.
• Ensure all employees provide outstanding customer service.
• Enforce all policies and procedures.
• Oversee assigned area through effective delegation and management of work, employees, time, and resources.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and services.
• May operate forklift or industrial truck to assist in loading, unloading, or moving merchandise and materials.
• Promote safety awareness of any hazards in the store for employees or customers.
• Handle customer complaints, questions, or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of retail experience.
• Retail Management experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work any open store hours.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Highly motivated leader capable of motivating others to achieve company goals.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Effectively communicate with customers in-person and over the phone.
