About The Role
This is an on-site position based in our San Luis Obispo office. Travel to client offices and other sites is required.
Responsibilities
- Develops new business relationships and augments existing business relationships through the utilization of all bank services, participation in community and non-profit organizations, and an active business development calling program.
- Calls on existing customers to maintain and expand banking relationships; calls on prospective customers to develop new business.
- Cross sells all bank products and services in a professional manner.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at various community events or sponsored activities of the company. Will coordinate all involvement to ensure the bank is represented at significant community events.
- Receives work assignments from the Regional President based on current needs.
- Aids Relationship Managers with calling efforts, follow up for gathering of complete financial packages and updates, document signing, and all other related support activities.
- Attends all appropriate meetings, classes, and seminars related to maintaining and developing all general banking and credit-specific skills and expertise.
- Researches, recommends and tracks donation requests by non-profit organizations.
- Manages the overall workload within time frame guidelines to manage the overall workload. Must prioritize all business development, relationship management, and community involvement activities on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of branch management, including sales, customer service, risk management, and management principles.
- Working knowledge of consumer and Business Deposit Products as applicable to the branch’s target market.
- Working knowledge of principles and methods of organization and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of files and privileged information.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently organize work files.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, proven sales and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience required.
