Deployment Technician
About the role
The PC Deployment Technician is responsible for preparing, configuring, and deploying Dell laptops and desktops across the organization. This role uses Microsoft Intune for device provisioning and management, while also supporting traditional on-premises technologies such as Active Directory and Group Policy. The technician ensures all devices are properly configured, secured, and accurately tracked through the asset management lifecycle. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Configure, image, and deploy Dell laptops and desktops using Microsoft Intune and related tools
- Enroll and manage devices within Intune, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
- Join devices to Active Directory and apply appropriate Group Policy Objects (GPOs) based on user or department requirements
- Perform hardware setup, testing, and quality checks before deployment
- Maintain accurate asset records, including device assignments, serial numbers, and lifecycle status
- Aid with device returns, refreshes, and redeployments
- Provide basic end-user support during deployment activities
- Follow established procedures and contribute to process improvements

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 devices and basic PC hardware
- Basic understanding of Active Directory concepts (users, computers, groups) and Group Policy

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
