Deployment Operations Specialist I

Key Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and review unit TPFDD data within JOPES;
• Build and validate Unit Line Numbers (ULNs) on a daily tracker spreadsheet;
• Extract force-flow data using the Rapid Query Tool (RQT); analyze movement requirements and verify transportation feasibility;
• Track the movement of personnel, equipment, and cargo using standard ITV tools and prepare executive updates for senior leadership;
• Cook with COCOMs, HQDA, and subordinate units to manage validation unlocks, revalidations, and force deployment orders;
• Deliver concise JOPES and TPFDD briefings to senior command officers and provide alternate training to military/civilian personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be proficient in JOPES, GATES, JCRM, SMS, and COMPASS (including moving PEG/PEJ files)
• Secret Clearance is mandatory
• Must pass a state police background check and comply with annual drug-free workforce screenings
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills suitable for high-level military agency interaction
• Ability to lift heavy objects and endure prolonged standing, bending, or working in cramped spaces/varying weather conditions
