Deployed AI Strategist
Are you a credentialed accounting or tax professional who wants to shape how AI transforms client work? As a Deployed AI Strategist, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between our product and end users. You will lead the hands-on deployment of AI solutions directly within accounting, tax, and audit firms, embedding yourself in their workflows to ensure successful adoption. You are the trust-layer: a credentialed professional who speaks the language of the customer, understands the regulatory environment, and guides practitioners through natural language workflow construction as a trusted advisor. You will partner closely with forward-deployed engineers to translate client needs into technical requirements and rapidly iterate on solutions in the field.
About The Role
In the role of Deployed AI Strategist, you will:
- Lead customer discovery to understand existing processes, identify automation opportunities, and assess use case feasibility
- Guide customers through workflow construction using natural language prompting, building reusable skill templates and a prompt library scalable across service lines
- Identify, document, and escalate edge cases, output quality issues, and domain-specific gaps to product and engineering; participate in feature testing to close the feedback loop
- Partner with sales during pre-close engagements to provide technical credibility and workflow demonstrations
- Track and report on value realization metrics for assigned accounts, including time saved, review cycles reduced, and engagement throughput
- Develop and deliver training resources to customers, enabling them to self-serve on identified use cases
Requirements
- An active CPA license or equivalent professional credential (required)
- 3-8 years of public accounting experience, ideally at a regional or national firm (Big 4 experience preferred)
- Hands-on experience in audit and assurance, tax compliance, or advisory/financial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Deep familiarity with AI tools and comfort working in early-stage, ambiguous environments
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Willingness to travel for on-site customer workshops

Pay
The base compensation range for this role in eligible office locations (New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC) is $115,300 USD - $214,100 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
