Departmental Clerk – Trucking

Responsibilities

• Perform support functions for one or more staff in one or more functional areas which include order processing, payroll, material procurement and assorted administrative functions related to transportation.
• Completes, organizes and coordinates data, information, and activities for the functional area and/or cross functional areas.
• Learn, follow and utilize procedures, products, policies, and software appropriate to one or more functional areas.
• Routine daily tasks include data entry, organizing work, creating materials for internal and external customers, answering mail and phone inquiries, and making calls to arrange services from vendors.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience administering safety programs and/or safety training.
• Experience in office environment supporting manufacturing operations.
• Proven capability to use computer systems including experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of organizational skills.

Bonus

• Annual – Based upon individual contribution and overall, Company performance.

Paid Vacation

• Three (3) weeks per calendar year.
• Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

Paid Holidays

• Eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Automatic enrollment in the 401k plan.

Compensation

• Starting salary range for position: $42,000-$52,500
