About the role

Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the check-in and check-out process. Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect copays/payments. Schedule appointments and coordinate provider schedules using the electronic medical record (EMR). Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate care team. Monitor patient flow, communicate delays, and support a positive patient experience. Process patient information accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Perform general administrative duties, including managing mail, faxes, forms, and payment reconciliation. Utilize Epic and other clinic systems to support efficient front desk and clinic operations.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Basic computer skills with familiarity in EMR systems. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for off-site events).

Qualifications

- Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. - Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Familiarity with Epic and other clinic systems. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Schedule

- Part-time, PRN (as needed) schedule. - Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-4:30. - Potential to work select Saturdays or early morning off-site company events during the months of October and November for the annual season flu and HRA campaigns.
