Partnering with companies like Chrysler, Fiat, Dodge, and Stellantis, we help employers manage the health needs of their employees, focusing on injury prevention, treatment, and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Care coordination among services and across the continuum for patients with complex health care needs.
- Educate patients and families about benefits, risk factors, community resources, wellness, and health promotion.
- Exercise professional nursing judgment to work with a variety of professionals, agencies, and systems.
- Administer fit testing, audio, vision testing, and preliminary exams.
- Process medical records in compliance with OSHAWound Care
- Process reinstatement
- Conduct Medical Surveillance
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current state license to practice
- Current BLS certification
- A minimum of three years of experience in occupational health, emergency room, critical care, or urgent care; five years preferred
- Excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of emergency nursing care
- Maintain individual competence in occupational health nursing practice
- Understanding of OSHA recordkeeping criteria
- Collaboration with Corporate Medical Operations
- Collaboration with providers
- Collaboration with other stakeholders at the plant
- Perform chart audits
- Training in the use of Cority (if not already proficient)
- Training as a Breath Alcohol Technician
