About the role

This job posting is for a Manager position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
  • Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
  • Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
  • Manage Sales Promotions and ensure service staff are trained in service procedures.
  • Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service.
  • Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, fast, and that food is always safe.
  • Control food costs and ensure kitchen staff are trained in production procedures.
  • Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
  • Support Crew members to help them get off to a good start and motivate them throughout their time working there.

Requirements

  • Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned stores.
