About the role
This job posting is for a Manager position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
Manage sales promotions and train service staff in procedures.
Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service.
Ensure food safety and control food costs.
Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew members to meet sales and profit goals.
Support Crew in getting off to a good start and recognizing their efforts.
Requirements
Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned restaurants.
