Department of Physics Lecturer Pool 2026-2027
About the role
The Department of Physics in the College of Sciences maintains a part‑time and full‑time lecturer pool for temporary faculty with expertise in Applied Physics, Theoretical Physics, Computational Physics, or related physics fields. Appointments may be full‑ or part‑time; part‑time offers are often made shortly before the term begins, requiring availability on short notice. The Fall term runs mid‑August to late‑December, the Spring term mid‑January to mid‑May, and Summer Session teaching opportunities may also be available. Initial appointments are typically one semester or one academic year, renewable based on satisfactory evaluations and continued work availability. Applications remain in the pool for the academic year in which they are submitted.
