Department of Accounting & Finance Part-time Lecturer Pool

About the role

The Department of Accounting and Finance at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach in the areas of Accounting or Finance. The department equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address complex accounting and financial challenges. The program emphasizes technical expertise, strong communication skills, ethics, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the areas of Accounting or Finance at the undergraduate level.
• Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
• Mentor and advise students, providing guidance on academic and career paths.
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Accounting and Finance program.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A Doctoral degree is preferred (must be completed by the time of appointment).
• Relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation in the field is highly valued.
• Exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at the program level is preferred and should be highlighted in the application.

Pay

• Lecturer A (Range 2): $5,507 – $6,677
• Lecturer B (Range 3): $6,221 – $13,224
• Lecturer C (Range 4): $6,825 – $14,523
• Lecturer D (Range 5): $8,593 – $15,211
