About the role
Department Managers lead shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They oversee multiple departments including People, Guest, Kitchen, and Shift Management, and are responsible for food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and staff training.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness.
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability across all departments.
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
- Meet and exceed departmental and overall targets.
- Manage crew and other managers to ensure consistent high standards.
- Handle Shift Management responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun while working.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food service or related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
