Department Manager

About the role

The job is for a Department Manager at a McDonald’s Corporate owned restaurant. This position is not with McDonald’s USA, but with an independent franchisee.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
• Ensure the Guest Service Department delivers a great customer experience.
• Oversee sales promotions and train service staff in procedures.
• Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
• Manage Kitchen Department to ensure high-quality food, fast service, food safety, and cost control.
• Train and schedule kitchen staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Support Crew and Managers in getting off to a good start and recognizing their efforts.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Qualifications

Competitive range starting at $16.50-$22 per hour, along with incredible benefits including:
