Department Manager- Soft Lines

About the role

Under the direction of the store manager, you are responsible for the in-store operations directly involved in the sale of merchandise for an accountable selling area or areas. You will maximize sales, profit, and inventory objectives within these areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial and operational duties
• Maintain customer relations
• Supervise, train, and develop all sales staff associated with assigned areas
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• One year of retail experience in retail store operations within the last two years
• One year of supervisory/management retail operational experience
• Open availability and ability to multi-task
• Ability to make sound decisions
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent coaching and communication skills

Work Challenges

Extended duty hours and varying work schedules.

Pay

$21.33 per hour.
