Department Manager Position

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. This includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly service to customers.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
• Make sure the restaurant delivers high-quality food and controls food costs.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Support new employees and motivate current staff.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic workplace.
• Must be 18 years or older to manage in a corporate-owned McDonald's restaurant.
