About the Role

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, such as the Guest Service, Kitchen, and People Departments.

Responsibilities

Guest Service Department Manager:

• Makes sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience
• Makes sure sales promotions are done well
• Makes sure all service staff are trained in service procedures
• Makes sure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service

Kitchen Department Manager:

• Makes sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers
• Makes sure food is always safe
• Makes sure food cost is controlled
• Makes sure all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items that are added to the menu

People Department Manager:

• Makes sure the restaurant hires qualified crew
• Makes sure the crew is trained well
• Makes sure the crew is scheduled to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
• Makes sure Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant and are recognized and motivated throughout their time working there

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment
• You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants

Qualifications

Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun, passionate about working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
