About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a manager, responsibilities include ensuring a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience, managing sales promotions, training staff, organizing service areas, and hiring and training qualified crew members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.
  • Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
  • Ensure the Guest Service Department delivers a great customer experience, manages sales promotions, trains service staff, and organizes service areas.
  • Ensure the Kitchen Department delivers high-quality food and fast service, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff.
  • Ensure the People Department hires, trains, and schedules staff to meet sales and profit goals, and supports their development and motivation.

Requirements

  • Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald's restaurant.

Qualifications
