About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Department Manager, you will ensure high-quality service and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to provide fast, accurate, and friendly service to customers.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to your team and other managers.
- Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
- Manage sales promotions effectively.
- Train service staff in service procedures.
- Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service.
- Control food costs and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew members to meet sales and profit goals.
- Support new employees and motivate them throughout their time at the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for the role.
