Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Managers oversee multiple departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, and People.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient operations.
• Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and higher management.
• Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality food and fast service in the Kitchen.
• Ensure food safety, control food costs, and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Support new employees and motivate existing staff.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with scheduling.
• Age 18 or older.
