About the role
The role involves leading shifts and managing departments in a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring staff deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas.
- Lead the Kitchen Department, ensuring the restaurant delivers high-quality food, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Lead the People Department, hiring qualified crew, training them well, scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals, and supporting their development and motivation.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with schedules and a passion for the McDonald’s brand.
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions.
