Department Manager

About the role

Lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, managing assigned Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to teams, following up, and reporting results.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service Department Manager: Making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, sales promotions are done well, all service staff are trained in service procedures, and Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
• Kitchen Department Manager: Making sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers quickly, food is always safe, food cost is controlled, and all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new menu items.
• People Department Manager: Making sure the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, Crew get off to a good start, and they are recognized and motivated throughout their time working there.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with passion to work the famously fast-paced McDonald's environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
