About the Role

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments, such as the Guest Service, Kitchen, and People Departments.

Responsibilities

Guest Service Department Manager:

• Makes sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience
• Ensures sales promotions are done well
• Trains service staff in service procedures
• Organizes Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service

Kitchen Department Manager:

• Makes sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers
• Fast food service
• Ensures food is always safe
• Controls food costs
• Trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items on the menu

People Department Manager:

• Hires qualified crew
• Trains them well
• Schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
• Ensures Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant
• Motivates Crew throughout their time working there

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun
• Passion to work in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants
