About the role
The Department Chair oversees all aspects of the Kinesiology program, including curriculum development, faculty management, and student support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee curriculum development and implementation
- Manage faculty and staff within the department
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance to students and faculty
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies
Requirements
- M.S. in Kinesiology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education administration
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Experience in higher education administration
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and institutional policies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
