About the Role
The Chair of the Musculoskeletal Service Line leads the Department of Orthopedics, overseeing clinical, educational, and research programs. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality care, optimizing clinical operations, fostering business development, and promoting research and education. The Chair collaborates with system leadership and physicians to develop strategic initiatives, enhance practice protocols, and expand Centers of Excellence. Additional responsibilities include leading recruitment, quality improvement, and community outreach efforts, as well as managing resources effectively to support department growth and transformation into a Musculoskeletal Institute.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of high-quality clinical care across the Musculoskeletal Service Line.
- Optimize clinical operations and foster business development initiatives.
- Promote and expand research and educational programs.
- Collaborate with system leadership and physicians to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Enhance practice protocols and expand Centers of Excellence.
- Lead recruitment efforts for clinical and administrative staff.
- Drive quality improvement and community outreach programs.

- Oversee both clinical and administrative functions of the department.
