About the role

We are seeking a forward-thinking Chair for the Musculoskeletal Service Line in Orthopedics, responsible for leading clinical, educational, and research programs across multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management to ensure high-quality patient care, research, and education
  • Oversee resource allocation, personnel, and facilities to optimize clinical and research missions
  • Collaborate with system leaders, physicians, and hospital administrators to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Drive practice protocols, clinical program development, and community outreach to enhance the service line's reputation and growth
  • Recruit, mentor, and maintain physician and staff excellence, including succession planning
  • Lead performance improvement, quality assurance, and patient experience initiatives
  • Transform the service line into a Musculoskeletal Institute and expand academic and research activities

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in orthopedic or musculoskeletal care with strong strategic vision
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and emotional intelligence skills
  • Experience in clinical operations, research growth, and program development
  • Ability to promote innovation, transparency, and mission alignment
