About the role

The Department Assistant, Radiology, supports the Radiology team acting as the film librarian and providing receptionist duties for the department. This is a part-time position with hours Tuesday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 12 noon.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate, efficient, and up-to-date film library records
• Files permanent medical records
• Tracks outside films/images that come in
• Serves as a receptionist for the department, including greeting visitors, answering departmental phones, and taking messages
• Serves as a point of contact for patients and their families, providing information and resources
• Maintains confidentiality

Requirements

• High School diploma / GED
• 1 year of administrative experience
• Basic/Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a clinic or hospital setting (preferred)
