About the role
Join Benevis as an Associate Dentist and support our mission to provide excellent dental care in the community, helping create more smiles and memorable experiences for children and adults. With a patient base that is 70% or more children, you’ll work in a fun, compassionate environment with a team that values collaboration and patient care.
Our practice is equipped with DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, fiber-optic handpieces, and a supportive team structure including 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider. You’ll serve a patient base primarily ages 3-21, with up to 30% adults depending on location, and manage an office flow of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients daily. The payor mix includes state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network options.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental services to patients, primarily children, with the support of a dedicated team.
- Participate in morning huddles, team planning, and activities that promote a positive company image.
- Engage in yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and other providers to ensure high-quality care.
- Highlight examples of customer focus, teamwork, and goal achievement within the practice.
Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the states where care is provided or eligibility for licensure.
- Other certifications as required, including CPR and DEA.
- Nitrous Oxide certification (required for LA, MS, DC, TX, MA).
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.
- Commitment to teamwork, mutual respect, and cooperation.
