About the role
Join Benevis as a Traveling Associate Dentist in Massachusetts and support our mission to provide excellent dental care in the community, helping us create more smiles and memorable experiences for children and adults. This role involves traveling to multiple offices across Massachusetts to deliver high-quality dental services in a fun, compassionate environment. Approximately 70% of our patient base is children, with the remainder being adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide dental services to patients, primarily ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult population depending on location.
- Work with a team including 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider.
- Manage an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients per day.
- Utilize DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces.
- Adhere to yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
- Serve a patient base covered by state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure.
- Other certifications as required, including CPR and DEA.
- Nitrous Oxide certification (required for MA).
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.
