Dentist (Part-Time)

We are hiring a Dentist Part time for one of our clients in Vernon, TX. Job Description Contractor shall provide the following service(s) to patients of the Facility. The dentist performs various patient care duties under the supervision of the Medical Director. Duties / Responsibilities Provide dental services for patients both routine and non-routinePerform documentation of all services providedComply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, VSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives. Requirements Must be licensed as a dentist by the State of TexasMust comply with HHSC immunization requirementsMust submit to HHSC required drug testMust submit to HHSC required fingerprintingMust complete facility and HHSC required trainingMust abide by staffing agency and VSH's attendance and leave policyMust abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and State Hospital License, Certification, Or Registration Required Current and unrestricted license to practice Dentistry with the State of Texas through TDLRMust be certified by the American Heart Association BLS in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the State HospitalCopies of CPR certifications must be kept on file with VSH's Contracting officeAll certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the State Hospital Selection Process The Staffing Agency with the selected candidates will be notified by email.VSH's Agency Hiring Coordinator will communicate with the agency and candidate(s) on dates and times to begin the process of onboarding. If your staffing agency does not provide candidates for the services requested or at the Facility in need, no response is required. Work Hours Shift Availability: 8:00 AM 5:00 PMDays: Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday Additional Information Term: Minimum of 3 months with option to extend Please Note: The start date commences when all compliance and clearance requirements have been met by the selected candidate.
