Dentist - DDS/DMD

About the role

Lumina HealthCare is seeking a Part-Time Dentist (1-2 days/week) to work in the Phoenix, AZ area. Qualified candidates will round at multiple facilities within a designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Weekday commitment: No call, evenings, or weekends
• Deliver dentistry at the bedside in post-acute care setting as well as chairside in the adult day habilitation setting.
• Round daily at multiple facilities
• Conduct routine, preventative dental examinations
• Perform routine extractions and fillings
• Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Able to build a good rapport with patients, patient's families, facility staff, and company staff
• Provide excellent chairside communication to enhance the patient experience

Requirements

• DDS or DMD
• State professional license
• Valid state driver’s license

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of and sensitive to regulatory compliance requirements and to performance standards

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
