Dentist - DDS/DMD

About the role

Lumina HealthCare is seeking a Full or Part-Time Dentist (1-5 days/week) to work in the Bakersfield, CA area. The position involves rounding at multiple facilities within a designated territory, primarily in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities, nursing homes, PACE programs, assisted living facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine, preventative dental examinations
• Perform routine extractions and fillings
• Perform denture fabrications, relines, and repairs
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Build a good rapport with patients, patient's families, facility staff, and company staff
• Enhance the patient experience through excellent chairside communication

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree
• State professional license
• Valid state driver’s license

Duties

• Weekday commitment: No call, evenings, or weekends
• Deliver dentistry at the bedside in post-acute care setting as well as chairside in the adult day habilitation setting
• Round daily at multiple facilities

Qualifications

• Valid state license
• Valid driver’s license
