Dentist - Beckley WV

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review health records electronically through a secure web portal and perform in-person assessments on each Veteran.

Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Position Details

• Schedule: 1 day/week or a few days/month
• Location: In-person role
• Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation

Requirements

• Holds either a DDS, DMD, or OS degree
• Current license to work in the State of West Virginia
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
