Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments
- Assess patients' oral health needs
- Provide education on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and sterilization protocols
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Licenses: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Certifications: Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
