Dental Treatment Coordinator (Must Have Dental Experience)

About the role

A busy, modern, high-end, multi-specialty dental office with two locations in Manhattan (Midtown and Tribeca) is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient appointments and schedules
• Handle insurance claims and coding
• Collaborate with doctors and other team members
• Ensure accurate and timely financial ledger updates
• Support treatment planning and clinical charting
• Oversee office resource setup and management
• Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
• Work closely with patients, doctors, and fellow team members
• Take personal ownership of the practice as a positive role model

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of dental office experience
• Familiarity with Dentrix Enterprise or regular Dentrix functionalities
• Strong knowledge of multi-specialty large dental group operations and procedures
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Prior experience as a treatment coordinator for prosthodontics or general restorative dentistry
• Experience with one or more dental specialties such as oral surgery, endo, perio, or ortho (a plus)
• Proficient with basic applications including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dentrix
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and Sundays

Office Hours

The office operates from Monday to Sunday, with specific hours varying by day:

• Monday - Thursday: 9am - 7pm
• Friday: 9am - 6pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 9am - 6pm
