About the role
Dental Treatment Coordinator (FT) position available at Lake Geneva Dental. Full-time position averaging approximately 34–38 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Verify patient information and insurance details.
- Patient Interaction:
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients.
- Communicate treatment plans, benefits, and urgency of care.
- Address questions and concerns to improve case acceptance.
- Build strong relationships and trust with patients.
- Patient Communication & Case Presentation:
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients.

- Financial Coordination:
- Explain fees, insurance benefits, and out-of-pocket costs.
- Offer and coordinate payment options (financing, payment plans, etc.).
- Verify insurance coverage and pre-authorizations when needed.
- Follow up on outstanding balances and pending treatment.
- Appointment Management:
- Cook up and schedule appointments based on dentist availability.
- Send appointment reminders to patients.
- Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling.
- Ensure re-care is being booked.
- Follow up with patients on unscheduled treatment plans.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
- Handle patient registration and check-in/check-out processes.
- Process and verify insurance information.
- Collect and record payments for services rendered.
- Oversee and participate in collections of aged receivables.
- Team Collaboration:
- Partner with doctors and clinical team to understand treatment recommendations.
- Coordinate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Problem Resolution:
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues related to appointments, billing, or service.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to handle patient complaints effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous dental office experience required (2+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processes.
- Experience with practice management software (CURVE is a plus!)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
