Position Summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a full-time Treatment Coordinator for our North Myrtle Beach office. The role involves advocating and educating patients on treatment plans, coordinating financial resources, and assisting with administrative tasks.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Conduct interviews to understand patient’s oral health history, concerns, and objectives.

  • Explain treatment plans, address patient concerns, and answer questions.

  • Aid patients in prioritizing treatment and establishing a schedule and payment plan.

  • Build trust and understand patient objectives.

  • Conduct financial consultations with new and existing patients.

  • Manage and maintain payment options and policies.

  • Understand and work with dental benefit plans, educating patients on their benefits.

  • Bill dental insurance, post payments, and estimate claims.

  • Track and follow up on dental benefit plan accounts receivable.

  • Introduce new patients to the practice, explain the doctor’s examination, and highlight practice features.

  • Conduct treatment consultations with new and existing patients.

  • Greet and check patients in and out before and after treatment.

  • Answer incoming calls for new patient inquiries, emergencies, scheduling, record requests, and follow-ups.

  • Perform general office duties and other assigned tasks.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous front office dental experience required.

  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products and other dental/medical practice management software preferred.

  • Initiative, dependability, and promptness.

  • Time management and organizational skills.

  • Fast-paced environment adaptability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel between locations (if applicable).

  • Independent thinking and teamwork approach.

  • Accuracy in report creation, training presentations, and correspondence.

  • Excellent telephone techniques and clear communication skills.
