Dental Revenue Cycle Insurance Coordinator
Job Summary
Star Dental Partners (SDP) is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Insurance Coordinator to join our high-growth and fast-paced Dental Service Organization (DSO). This position will interact with insurance companies to follow-up on open claims, post insurance payments, process patient and insurance refunds.

Responsibilities
- Payment Posting & Accounts Receivable: Enter payments and adjustments at the Provider level with a high degree of accuracy.
- Billing, Collections, Appeal, and Cash Processes: Collect and review all required patient insurance information to complete the billing, collections, appeal, and/or cash processes.
- Day End and Month End Processing: Assist in performing day end and month end processing.
- Claims Appeals & Denials: Process dental insurance EOBs, appeals, denials, and following up with denial resolutions appropriately.
- Research & Resolution: Research and resolve any electronic claim rejections.
- Insurance & Patient Correspondence: Process necessary insurance or patient correspondence.
- Reimbursement Trends & Delays: Independently analyze, report, and communicate any reimbursement trends or delays, such as billing denials, claim denials, pricing errors, payments, etc.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the Revenue Cycle department.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1 year experience as a revenue cycle insurance coordinator within the dental industry preferred.
- 2 years of collections, accounts receivable, and/or related experience within healthcare required.
- Experience in Practice Management Software (PMS) required.

Work Conditions
- Required to commute to the Plano, TX office four days weekly, Monday - Thursday. Fridays are virtual.
- Ability to maintain a full-time employment schedule of approximately 40 hours per week; extended hours may be requested or required.
- Prolonged sitting and standing as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
