Responsibilities
- Answering phones, transferring calls, and taking messages
- Greeting patients, maintaining logs, and providing translation services
- Collecting accurate patient data, creating and updating patient records
- Scheduling appointments, notifying providers of no-shows and cancellations, and managing the schedule
- Verifying insurance eligibility, assisting with insurance questions, and handling billing functions
- Processing referrals, managing recall communications, and ensuring proper documentation
- Creating treatment estimates, collecting fees, and performing other assigned duties
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred experience in a clinic or dental office
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required at a high proficiency level
- Strong multitasking, customer service, and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer programs like Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Basic knowledge of medical/dental terminology
