About the role
The featured positions at Willamette Dental are General Dentist and Dental Hygienist.
Responsibilities
- Support Willamette Dental’s evidence-based treatment philosophy, mission, vision and core values by performing the full scope of general dentistry permitted by state.
- Work in collaboration with a dental team to provide dental care and education to patients.
- Apply the dental hygiene process of care (Assessment, Dental Hygiene Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation) as a framework for care delivery.
- Utilize interpersonal skills to motivate and partner with patients in maintaining oral health wellness and prevent oral disease.
- Utilize appointment center scheduling guidelines for patient scheduling and offer alternatives to patients when appropriate.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a traditional pre doctoral dentistry program and valid licensure in the specific state(s) where practicing.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current unrestricted dental hygiene license.
- Current Oregon dental hygiene license in good standing.
- Local anesthesia endorsement; required.
- N2O permit; required and kept current.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), and/or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
- High school diploma or GED required and minimum of one year customer service or call center experience required OR equivalent combination of education and experience which will provide the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum of one year healthcare and/or dental experience is desirable.
- Dental terminology desirable.
- Bilingual desirable.
- Select... Previous computer experience required, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, keyboarding and 10-key skills.

Pay
- General Dentist: $195,000 - $215,000 annually
- Dental Hygienist: $54 - $63 per hour*
Schedule
- General Dentist: 4 10-hour days
- Dental Hygienist: 4 10-hour days (40 hours per week)
