Job Summary

The Dental Practice Manager oversees administrative tasks, financial management, and staff coordination in a dental practice. This role involves managing schedules, handling patient inquiries, maintaining records, and implementing office policies and procedures. Exceptional organizational, communication, and strong leadership skills are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Serves as an office facilitator for all personnel by acting as liaison between office and Corporate. - Supervises all treatment support systems and patient flow sequencing. - Maintains collection controls and systems. - Monitors overall expenses in the office. - Oversees daily closeout functions as well as daily deposit with the corporate office. - Evaluates work performance of subordinates and mentors, counsels, and provides discipline when necessary. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- 5+ years’ work experience in a dental or medical office with at least 1+ years as supervisor or management level with direct reports required. - Strong customer service orientation towards patients and staff. - Easily able to learn new technologies and systems required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. - Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel required. - High School diploma or GED required.

Physical/Mental Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing, walking, using hands and arms to operate general office equipment, lifting and moving between 10 and 25 pounds, and adjusting focus. The work environment is usually low to moderate noise, and employees are required to wear PPE as needed.
