Dental Office Manager
About the role
As a Clinical Team Manager, you’ll be the backbone of a high-performing mobile dental team—consisting of a Dentist or Hygienist and a Dental Assistant—delivering care directly to patients in their homes or care facilities. You’ll be responsible for seamless operations, top-tier patient experiences, and ensuring compliance, all while managing scheduling and stakeholder interactions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a mobile dental team, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and an outstanding patient experience
- Run your team like a business, with autonomy and support to make real decisions
- Travel daily with your team to patient locations in and around the Boston area
- Step in and assist the doctor chairside as needed
- Manage the success of the day and support the team clinically as state regulations allow
- Handle front and back office duties
- Lift and transport dental equipment and supplies
- Drive a company van (must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record)
Requirements
- 5+ years of dental experience
- Active State-Level Dental Assistant Certification (preferred)
- Clinical chairside assisting experience (preferred)
- Experience with mobile dentistry or healthcare (preferred)
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- World-class customer service—comfortable interacting with patients, power of attorneys, and facility managers
- Passion for innovation and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment
- Goal-oriented with the ability to motivate teams to maximize production and productivity
- Must be able to lift and transport dental equipment and supplies
- Must be able to drive a company van, hold a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record
- Must be comfortable with longer travel days
Benefits
- Competitive base compensation ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 plus 20% quarterly bonus (depending on experience)
