About the role
The Dental Laboratory Technician will manage case workflow and process digital cases using our case management software. This role reports directly to the Dental Lab Director and requires close collaboration with dental clinics across Jordan Valley.
Responsibilities
- Manage case workflow and process digital cases using case management software.
- Demonstrate knowledge in dental laboratory computer-aid software: 3Shape and Sprintray.
- Apply knowledge of dental prosthetic devices and related technologies.
- Fabricate quality denture products from start to finish.
- Construct, repair, and reline dentures and partials.
- Pass a hands-on skill assessment/bench test of upper and lower set up.
- Work with Dental Providers and Clinic Managers to ensure timely placement and receipt of lab orders.
- Perform routine and support dental laboratory procedures, including:
- Pouring primary and final impressions.
- Fabricating custom trays and bite rims.
- Setting teeth for trial dentures/partials.
- Polishing prosthesis.
- Fabricating night guards.
- Performing inventory of all dental laboratory materials.
- Ensure quality control for case fabrication.
Strong candidates will demonstrate competencies in customer service, organization, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in a dental lab, with expertise in dental prosthetic devices and related technologies.
- At least five years of experience as a dental laboratory technician.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
