Responsibilities
- Maintaining patient records, updating medical histories, and vital signs
- Conducting X-ray procedures and storing images
- Performing periodontal charting, preventative care, and assisting with restorations
- Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
- Providing oral hygiene education and developing treatment plans
- Supporting infection control and suggesting clinic efficiency improvements
- Participating in dental education programs and ensuring compliance with standards
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduation from Dental Hygiene school and active OR license
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Knowledge of dental practices, anesthesia, and restorative procedures
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and coordination skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Dental Records and Microsoft Office
