DENTAL HYGIENIST

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct oral health assessments, including reviewing oral health history and examining patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis.
- Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
- Apply fluoride and sealants to prevent cavities.
- Educate patients about proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Record and evaluate patients' dental histories and document treatment plans and progress.
- Collaborate with dentists in planning treatment for patients, assisting in consultations, and making recommendations for care.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to infection-control protocols and all health and safety regulations.
What You’ll Need
- Current State Dental Hygiene License
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and education.
- Experience using Dentrix & DEXIS software (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
