Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating patient records and vital signs
  • Performing X-ray procedures and assisting with exams
  • Providing preventive periodontal treatments and expanded functions like restorations and applying sealants
  • Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene and contributing to infection control protocols
  • Supporting clinic efficiency and participating in dental education programs
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
  • Active Dental Hygiene license for the practice state
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred), with proficiency level 10 for bilingual differential pay
  • Knowledge of dental practices, anesthesia, and restorative procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, manual dexterity, and computer skills
