Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating patient records and vital signs
- Performing X-ray procedures and assisting with exams
- Providing preventive periodontal treatments and expanded functions like restorations and applying sealants
- Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and contributing to infection control protocols
- Supporting clinic efficiency and participating in dental education programs
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Dental Hygiene license for the practice state
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred), with proficiency level 10 for bilingual differential pay
- Knowledge of dental practices, anesthesia, and restorative procedures
- Strong interpersonal, time management, manual dexterity, and computer skills
