About the role
Tend is seeking a Full-Time Upper West Side Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. You'll be working in a modern, thoughtful-designed studio with the support of a dedicated dental assistant through our Team (Assisted) Hygiene model.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care
- Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to optimize your schedule
- Partner with dentists for hygiene exams to identify and recommend treatment plans
- Maximize chair time, recommend preventive care, and support same-day treatment opportunities
- Drive hygiene production by working closely with dental assistants
- Maintain strong relationships with patients through clear communication and personalized education
- Collaborate with the broader studio team for seamless patient care
- Engage in ongoing professional development through CE opportunities and peer collaboration
Requirements
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
- Open to full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Comfort with occasional lifting and moving of equipment, instrument trays, and supplies up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, team members, and other healthcare professionals

Pay
$52 USD - $58 USD per hour
Schedule
- Full-time (32–40 hours/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts)
- Part-time (2–3 days/week including AM/PM and Saturday shifts)
- PRN (work when you want!)
