About the role

Tangletown Dental is a 15-year-old practice known for its modern technology, positive culture, and highly trained professionals. Located in the desirable Tangletown neighborhood, the practice serves a vibrant community in the heart of the lakes area.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and updating X-rays, chart notes, and maintaining related equipment
• Recording detailed clinical narratives, probing depths, and documentation for claims
• Maintaining strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance
• Sterilizing instruments and managing hygiene supplies
• Performing Prophylaxis and Scaling & Root Planing
• Applying fluoride varnish and placing sealants
• Educating patients on oral health and the mouth-body connection
• Supporting patient and team relations with professionalism and empathy
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Open to new grads or experienced hygienists
• Current certification from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Ability to connect with diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with Denticon preferred (but not required)
