Position Qualifications
- Graduate from a Dental Health Aide Therapy training program
- 4 years working as a Dental Health Aide Therapist
- CHAP Dental Health Aide Therapist Certification
- BLS
- Work with potentially hazardous equipment and materials such as x-ray equipment, sterilizers, medicaments, sharp instruments and infectious waste
- Basic knowledge of general dentistry, including disease prevention, dental health education, and basic restorative, preventive and surgical procedures
- Supervise dental assistants at chair side, may supervise EFDHA’s with whom he/she is working
